Apparently 80% of people read the AI summary in google (such as the copilot intro) and assume it to be true. What it really is is a summary of populist opinion – not fact.
Fake news is everywhere, so myths are assumed as truths and truths are very hard to find. Most medical “truths” are simply biased opinions from biased tests. They are not meta-analysis, double blind peer reviewed outcomes.
"No one knows you better than you. Most people just don't take the time to listen."
I often think the more complex the less likely to be true and what is behind most of these myths is simply sales. So, it does appear very difficult to really know what to believe so keep it simply.
We know how we move, fuel and think really matter. So, start simple. Eating begins with preparation. Know what you are putting in your mouth, eat in a way that you are not stressed or distracted so your body can digest properly and eat food that has one ingredient. Chew a lot and don’t eat until full – watch portions.
Exercise through normal full function and stress the body a little. Note when that stress changes nothing, that stress that rebounds back to normal is ok and hopefully enjoyable. Stress that leaves us worse off or injured, distress is to be avoided, stress that we rebound back from better than we were, eustress, is the optimum goal. So how do you know the difference? Be aware, measure, feel and notice. No one knows more than you!
How we think? Life should be enjoyable. If thoughts are not enjoyable we are not winning. When thoughts go bad something needs to change but first of all you have to recognise when thoughts go wrong, so keep a journal and ask yourself often, am I happy am I ok.
No one knows you better than you, but most people don’t take time to listen .. to themselves!
